WebPerception started in the North Bay in 1997 as a local internet provider. Today it is a locally owned internet and technology company headquartered in Novato.
In 2017 the current ownership team, Ali Omoomy and Brendan Kuhlman, took over. Ali brought a long career running a complex business and a focus on taking care of people properly. Brendan brought a technical mind across wireless, networking, software, and infrastructure, plus years on the technician side of this same network.
Since then we have grown carefully: capacity before advertising, word of mouth before sales volume. We are one team for the connection, the network, and the support, from residential and business internet to WiFi, networking, camera systems, and managed phones.
These are the working commitments behind every WebPerception agreement, not slogans on a wall.
We live and work in the North Bay. When you call, you reach people who know the network and stay with the issue until it is resolved. Office and sales hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific.
We look at the real environment, plan around it, and test what we install. Internet availability depends on a clear line of sight and the signal quality at your property, not on a ZIP code or a shaded map.
You know the scope, the terms, and what is included before any work begins. Service runs on a flat monthly agreement quoted up front, and project work is priced before it starts.
Phone support and network monitoring are available 24/7/365, so we often see a problem before you call about it. Planned maintenance comes with advance notice.

CEO
Ali has been rooted in the North Bay for more than 40 years. His background is in the automobile retail business: he started as a salesperson, eventually bought the dealership he worked in, and sold it in 2017. Along the way he represented Northern California Ford dealers at Ford headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan for ten years and learned what it takes to run a complex operation well. Retirement did not stick. He crossed paths with Brendan, and together they purchased WebPerception. Ali focuses on customer experience, sustainable growth, and earning trust by taking care of people properly.
Personal: Away from work, Ali is an avid golfer who spends time with his family and travels.
Managing Partner / CTO
Brendan has been building networks, servers, and websites since he was young, and he has been curious about nearly everything technical ever since. He started at WebPerception out of college, under the previous owner, and set out to learn everything he could about the wireless systems the company runs on. Today he leads the technical side of the business across wireless, networking, software, and infrastructure, and he still knows the technician side of the work firsthand. His focus is turning complex systems into calm, reliable tools for the people who depend on them.
Personal: In his spare time, Brendan likes to travel, hike, play tennis, spend time with friends, and relax at the beach with his dog Lola.
The local team that installs, monitors, bills, and supports what we build. Small enough to know customers by name.
Senior Network Administrator
Erik has worked with electronics, computers, and networking gear for as long as he can remember, including extensive hands-on time with routing and switching platforms from Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cisco, and others. At WebPerception he oversees and manages our tower sites and our upstream providers so every customer has a steady experience on the network.
Personal: In his spare time, Erik is an avid rock climber and slackliner, and he still tinkers with computers and electronics.
Director of Operations & Support
Dan is a Marin County native with a long career in technology. Security, camera systems, networking, project management, and customer support are all part of his day. He takes particular pride in network security and keeps looking for ways to improve the protections around our network and our customers.
Personal: Off hours, Dan enjoys board games with friends and traveling abroad with his wife and kids.
Business Development Manager
Dante came to WebPerception from a career in fine dining and brought the same hospitality with him. He has enjoyed learning the ins and outs of how a local wireless internet provider operates and how it can benefit its community. For him, talking with people who are considering our service feels a lot like welcoming new guests to a restaurant.
Personal: Off the clock, Dante is usually hiking, reading, or otherwise engaged in some form of personal study.
Accounts & Billing
Kim has been with WebPerception since the current ownership took over in 2017 and keeps the business running smoothly. She looks after accounts and billing and makes sure every customer is well taken care of. Kim usually has the answer, and when she does not, she finds it quickly.
Personal: In her spare time, Kim enjoys time with her family and everything this world has to offer.
The Bone Boss
Lola runs the show at the office. She works hard for her bones, keeps everyone at WebPerception in line, and greets every customer who visits with a quick bark followed by cuddles and some friendly attention.
Personal: Off duty, Lola likes the park or a hike with her dad, who has been trained to understand that ball = life.
