1. Our Commitment
WebPerception LLC wants everyone to be able to use its website and learn about its services, regardless of ability. We work to make the site accessible to people with disabilities and to keep improving it as we build.
2. Conformance Goal
Our goal is for the website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Those guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Our development guide is written to that standard, and we check pages against it as we build them.
Conformance is a goal we work toward, not a certification. The site has not been independently audited. If you find a page that falls short, we want to hear about it.
3. What We Build For
Across the site we aim for:
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators and a "Skip to main content" link
- Text alternatives for informative images
- Sufficient color contrast for text and controls
- Text that can be resized without losing content or function
- Clear, consistent navigation and heading structure
- Form fields with labels and error messages that screen readers announce
- Layouts that work on phones and small screens
4. Screen Readers and Assistive Technology
We build with common screen readers and assistive technology in mind, including JAWS and NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android. If a page does not work with the technology you use, please tell us which page and which software, and we will look into it.
5. Known Limitations
Some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- The interactive service-area map may be difficult to use with a screen reader. The same information is available by asking us about your address.
- Address suggestions in our forms come from a third-party service (Google). You can always type an address in full instead.
- The customer portal and webmail are separate systems with their own accessibility characteristics.
We are working to reduce these limitations.
6. Alternative Access
If you have difficulty using any part of the website, contact us. We can help you by phone, answer questions, take a service request over the phone, and provide information in an alternative format on request.
7. Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you run into a barrier, please tell us:
- Email accessibility@webperception.com
- Call or text (415) 892-7711
Office and sales hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific. We respond to accessibility feedback during those hours and give it priority.
8. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is part of how we build the site, not a one-time project. Our practices include:
- An accessibility checklist in our development documentation that covers semantic HTML, keyboard access, screen reader support, color contrast, and responsive design
- Reviewing new and changed pages against that checklist before they go live
- Fixing reported barriers and updating this statement when the site changes
This statement applies to webperception.com. It does not cover the terms of our internet service, which are in the Service Agreement.
9. Contact Us
Accessibility questions and feedback can be sent to us by email, phone, or mail.
